2016 — First Enclosure Line

We started with a single rack model built for a regional telecom operator. The spec called for 2.0 mm cold-rolled steel, reinforced mounting rails, and a door seal that held up in humid coastal conditions. That first batch taught us more about weld tolerances than any manual could.

2018 — Cooling Integration

After repeated requests from data center managers, we added integrated fan trays and front-to-rear airflow baffles to our 42U and 47U frames. The change cut hot-spot readings in client facilities by roughly 4 degrees Celsius on average during summer load tests.

2020 — Security Locking Upgrade

We introduced multi-point locking bars and optional electronic access modules across the heavy-duty range. The mechanical redesign passed independent tamper testing, and the electronic variant now supports common badge and biometric controllers used in Australian corporate sites.

2022 — Expanded Fabrication Capacity

Our Hobart workshop added a second CNC punch line and a dedicated welding bay for large enclosures. Lead times for custom-width cabinets dropped from eight weeks to five, which let us take on more complex telecom hut projects without crowding out standard rack orders.

2024 — Vibration and Seismic Testing

We put our 600 mm and 800 mm deep enclosures through vibration sweeps and seismic rack tests to match the requirements of network operators in active zones. The frames passed with no permanent deformation, and the results are now part of the technical datasheet we share with engineering teams.
